Prologue
To talk about Malcolm X
and the African American culture (or
Afro-American one) is not simple. Many of us will be asked why. First
because those who is dealing the matter is white men;
and this is not a little one.....
If I rememeber the acceptance that I have received at
the moment of my first post to the MALCOLM-X
mailing-list, I really scared!!! It seems incredible for who, like me, has
always loved this culture and its first actors, but the welcome has been
stormy.... "only" because an other white man had entered in the
muslim temple of the worshippers of the separatist verb.
I am not making easy irony, but trying to make the
Afro-American climate around the topic in argument understandable: in
order to make it short, the white men, not only Americans, would not have
to take care themselves of these things.
So I have decided to open Malcolm-X.it
website with this flyer: few lines,
but sure essential and, above all, close to the idea that we have of Malcolm
X.
The document
is a writing by a student group called "Malcolm
X Indipendent Collective", that more than every other has
picked the synthesis of the political-ideological way of one of the best
lucide and intelligent American minds. The flyer belong to 1998, but it
could be also written on 1999 or 2000.
MURDER OF MALCOLM X
ANNIVERSARY
34 years ago, 21 February 1965, during his last
speech at one conference room in Harlem, Malcolm X
was assassinated, the symbol of many of more radical and social claims
advanced from the Black Americans in years '60/'70.
A year before his murder, Malcolm X had
hardly put in contradiction the generalization - than the Nation of
Islam and he always made - that intransgressibly saw all the white men
like masters and those who took the advantage of Black people condition,
affirming the relation between racism and the social and class divisions
inside the structure of the capitalist system.
To the end of his critical analysis of the Afro-American reality in the
60s, Malcolm X arrived therefore to
comprise that an inequality exists between those who takes advantage of
all people and simple people that goes beyond the color of the skin, and
to theorize, therefore, the necessity of interracial alliances between
all those people who thoughts that only a violent social upsetting could
subvert the capitalistic-racist order of the United States.
To
go out from racist logic of the Nation of Islam, that works to endure
Capitalism, in order to approach to atmospheres more properly
revolutionary, became for Malcolm X a death
sentence. FBI and Nation of Islam executed it using special plan
"COINTELPRO", the same one that later will repress (through
the heavy drug dissemination in the ghettos) the more radical
experiences of the Black proletarian emancipation (the B.p.p.,
"Move", ...).
Malcolm X was killed because of his battle
against one of more strongly organizations that thought that the radicalness
of the needs of Afro-American proletarians were the radical needs of a
Nazi-folk racial separatism.
Malcolm X paid for the first words of a
speech that was prevented to him to conclude in order to suffocate a new
class revolution, impossible to be controlled...
MALCOLM X LIVES IN OUR DAILY FIGHT AGAINST THE
REFORMING POLICY, THE FASCIST INSTRUMENTALIZATION OF THE MALAISE OF THE
PROLETARIAN ONES AND AGAINST THE REPRESSION, BUT ALSO IN THE CRITIC TO
THE DOGMATISM OF THOSE WHO DOES NOT CONCEIVE DIALECTIC ALSO LIKE
INSTRUMENT OF CONSTANT SELF-CRITICISM AND VERIFICATION OF OWN IDEAS AND
FIGHT.
